Mental Incapacity
Mental Incapacity
As we get older we need to think about how our financial affairs are managed if we are not able to manage them ourselves through poor mental health.
It is important to have in place arrangements to ensure that a family member or a carer can access a pension, savings or assets, to pay for outgoings or to fund care home costs.
We can prepare for you a Power of Attorney. This will appoint someone that you trust to manage your affairs when you are no longer able to.
We can help you make an informed decision about the structure of a Power of Attorney before we draft it.
A member of our specialist team can visit you at your home, in the hospital or care home if a visit to our offices is impossible. Our elderly clients are treated with the utmost care and consideration.
